Sorry, for some reason I thought this was Pi 4. I think the Pi 5 drops to 1500.

and there is a minor firmware issue

you can request a lower clock like 600mhz or 1ghz in config.txt
lscpu will claim that it is at that lower clock
vcgencmd measure_clock will reveal that its all a lie, and its still 1.5ghz
