Hello,
Many people seem to have this problem, I've read many posts, but none solve it for me.
Main problem: 0 supported, 0 detected. No camera option in raspi-config -> interfaces. All the information and multiple troubleshooting attempts will be following.
Model: Zero W, newly bought. (I can add any information printed on the board if you want).
MicroSD: 32GB
Camera: Raspberry Pi Camera Module 8MP v2, newly bought
"Image": Raspberry Pi OS 32-bit (Debian Bookworm, Desktop). Recommended in official imager. (Tried Lite before that). What I've tried (some of the steps taken are from other forum answers to similar questions):
1. apt upgrade
2. apt update
3. update of raspi-config itself
4. Checked if it's one of the defunct ones (apparently that happened)5. Used the official imager and beforehand formatted the 32GB-card using MiniTool Partition Wizard
6. After update/upgrade, I rebooted the PiZero
Some have noted that the camera is enabled by default in newer versions of the operating systems, but why is it "supported = 0" then?
If my goal is not to uncover the hidden camera configure setting, then what... exactly do I have to do?
Keep in mind this is a "brand new" copy of the "image", I did nothing to change anything that could interfere, and all hardware is brand new too. The MicroSD is brand new as well. It can't be the hardware or my fault, right..
This is really frustrating and seems to be a problem that many, many beginners face. I would appreciate any help, thank you.
