very much doubt it, it would require a custom kernel(ubuntu) or upstream support(fedora)kerry_s. Thanks for idea. I don't have Pi 5 yet but I'll try it on a Pi 4 when I get a chance. My question is really whether there is anyone out there who is actually using vanilla Debian on a Pi 5.
other distro's i know of are using ubuntu as base or they discontinue the arm versions due to lack of man power.
i use my rpi5-5gb as my desktop and have a lite + gnome-core custom install.
pretty soon i'm going to get my rpi4-4gb up and running again, i was going to do a cyberdeck with it, but an opportunity came up for trade, i'm trading a rpi400 & a ride home from the airport for a crowpi l, a rpi4 laptop shell.
