Can someone recommend (video surveilance) camera software that uses the current libcamera software? ![:?:]( "Question")
That is a modern version of MotionEyeOS or Rpi_web_cam_interface.
I have a "Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 Wide-angle".
I know Buster (OS 11) allows legacy to be enabled as an option but that will not help me as the "Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3" will not work in legacy mode.
There is a lot of videos on YT that demonstrate the installation and use of MotionEyeOS and Rpi_web_cam_interface and it looks really interesting. However, these projects were developed many years ago when legacy mode was current and they only work with legacy mode. These projects have been abandoned rather than updated to use libcamera.
Now that camera interfaces have moved on, I am expecting that later software will have been developed to the latest standards.
