I didn't say "impossible" with Wayland, I said more difficult b/c more investigation is required. It should definitely be possible, but if wayland requires lightdm to get a "seat" created, you'll be out of luck doing it without autologin.Maybe you are right, I thought it could be nice make something new, but it’s not yet the time!OP, you should be able to use X11 and get this done with a fair amount less frustration and hair-pulling. Is that an option for you?
