Standard Wi-Fi has a stated range of about 100m outdoors although I've seen some arrangements do better than this (line-of-sight with no obstructions). The long range equipment I've used has all been point-to-point like the MikroTik Wireless Wire (for shorter ranges) or Ubiquiti Power Beam (for 5km+ ranges) so someone else will need to comment about LoRa equipment.
