What clock frequency are you targeting ?
Be aware that you have to adjust RX_READ_DELAY with SYS_CLOCK frequency AND QSPI frequency, otherwise you might crash the Flash (too little delay is as bad as too much delay).

For the RP2040 I was using 300mhz-360mhz, which seems pretty stable so far.
For the RP2350 I havent tested yet, but presumably similar or faster.

Could you elaborate on teh RX_READ_DEALY and SYS_CLOCK settings, as I have not familiar with those.
