What does the DISPLAY: line on the diagnostic screen say? That will tell us if your screen is reporting back the correct information to the Pi. Some screens don't send properly valid configuration data, or some cables are bad and the information gets scrambled.No I only get the black lines or "no signal detected" with the SD card inserted. Without the SD card inserted I get the regular raspberry diagnostic boot screen which displays just fine. I am using a micro hdmi to hdmi adapter. the power suppler is the raspberry power supply that came with the board.
