One method is hot air, another is using a hot plate, or an infra-red oven. I have a hot air rework tool, so that is what I use.How do you solder the contacts under the chip?
Doing the connections properly is tricky as the solder comes in tiny balls which you place on the PCB for each of the contacts. Then you put the chip on top of them and heat it up until the solder melts.
Obviously you need a big magnifier or microscope to see what you're doing.
