HATs and other add-ons • Power over Ethernet between 2 pi's

Hi,

I was wondering if the following would work. I have 2 rpi 4B both with a PoE-hat. One of the RPI's is powered via the usual USB-C. With just connecting an ethernet cable between the two, is it possible to power the second raspberrypi? Note that this idea doesn't use a router or switch but just an ethernet cable between the two pi's.
