At this point the output stops and normal boot shows on screen. When it shutdown again, I got this:
I tried this last night, but the uptime lasted four hours and I had to disconnect my laptop midway. This morning it lasted 40 seconds. The next boot was again stable for over 30 minutes, so I configured Home Assistant to move backups to a network share, took a full backup, enabled i2c, added an OLED display, and rebooted to test if the display worked. It shutdown immediately after startup, with this log. This variability in uptime is confounding.
