The whole point was it would have become an EN standard. And no it wouldn't have violated EU anti-trust laws as the only person who can enforce them was the commissionaire involved.I wasn't aware of that but it smacks of government promoting a commercial monopoly and therefore wouldn't it violate anti-trust laws.
But I think we're arguing semantics.
Yeah, Windows is dominant. But that doesn't make it a standard. At least not in the way that ISO9001, IEE802.11, etc. are.
