Indeed, my idea is to boot directly from NVME. I fall into that trap first time with the Pi 4 and SSD, but not this time.
I followed your instructions, removed the USB storage and I was still booting on the NVME. In fact already at the installation, I installed the Pi imager from the network to get the PINN installed on the NVME.
But it does not succeed. I still get the
BOOT ERROR: code 45 - 'Fatal firmware error'
I removed the USB storage and removed the OSes and reinstalled them all. Now, it boots on PINN of course where I can choose to launch the Raspios ARM64 and it seems it seems to work.
