That's a CCTV lens so may (also) need / not need the cs adapter (the only CCTV lens I've attempted to use was this one: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_p ... vLens.html with somewhat limited success since I've yet to work out how to control its shutter/aperture.)Thanks for the response, here are the images requested.
I have used the HQ camera lenses
( https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_p ... amera.html ) with that sensor and the global shutter camera ( https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_p ... amera.html ) and, like others have indicated, the near/far focus ring does lock as expected.
Which sensor are you using? I'm beginning to suspect that the focus adjustment ring is "just about working" at its limit, locking moves things a tad, making it out of focus, possibly because you're not adapting the CCTV mount to the sensor mount requirements. (C or CS).
(A somewhat extreme example is to use a Pi HQ sensor with old 35mm camera lenses : https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_p ... enses.html - not tried the GS sensor
