Hello,
I think I may have bricked my Pico W, but I want to make sure I exhaust all avenues before accepting its fate.
Why I think I bricked it?
I had some wires soldered on the pico, and in removing them, I accidentally left solder connecting VSYS and GND.
When I plugged it in my computer, a tiny puff of smoke came off the board in that spot.
I cleaned the solder, plugged it into a (different) USB port. Nothing happened.
Why there's a chance it's not bricked:
I held BOOTSEL button and plugged it in, I get a window pop ready to accept a U2F file.
However, when I try to copy one, the pico acts like it gets unplugged and plugged back in, showing ready to accept a U2F file again.
I've tried Micropython, Circuitpython and the Nuke U2F files without success.
So... is it bricked for good?
