Hello,
I have a PI5 running raspberry OS.
I am trying to use it as a WiFi hotspot because of its central location in the house. My box is in a corner of the house.
I have set the hotspot through the "Create Wireless hotspot" in the network manager menu. It is quite easy.
However, my devices (which are 5GHz compatible : phone and PC) connect to this hotspot in 2.4 Ghz, even when less than 3 meters away from the PI5 when connecting. Those same devices connect in 5 GHz to the box which is much further away and behind a brick wall.
Why is that ? How can I force the PI5 to establish 5 GHz connections ?
