looks like I have joined the group - after running for a bit - the CM5/dev box powers off.
1. Official Power Supply
2. Has worked fine with 2 other CM5 kits with same power supply
3. After watching power off - reapply power will cause failure mode to happen fast.
4. Setup has run for 2-hrs or so - still random. No real load other than running browser+playing background music so I know when it powers off.
5. Fan will start back up - indicating normal buggy development board? - but that happen on the other 2 dev kits.
6. All hardware has current version software, 4 gig of ram, current for the CM5 - version of firmware loaded. All have 1/2T m.2 installed.
brad@RP5dev02:/etc $ sudo cat /sys/firmware/devicetree/base/model;echo
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 Lite Rev 1.0
Unique about this CM5 is it does not have a wifi module. The other 2 have the wifi
brad@RP5dev02:~ $ hexdump -C /proc/device-tree/chosen/power/power_reset

brad@RP5dev02:~ $ hexdump -C /proc/device-tree/chosen/bootloader/rsts
00000000 00 00 10 00 |....|

brad@RP5dev02:~ $ vcgencmd version

brad@RP5dev02:/etc $ uname -a
Linux RP5dev02 6.6.62+rpt-rpi-2712 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.6.62-1+rpt1 (2024-11-25) aarch64 GNU/Linux
The system fussed at me - so only solution I can offer is get hardware with WiFi.
