General discussion • Audio Capture

Dear Team,

I am working with Raspberry PI 3 B+ h/w and able to play the audio using aplay command from head phones connected to 3.5 mm audio jack . But when i was trying to capture the audio using arecord command it was not working for me and arecord -l - command is not showing any capture devices list . Can anyone pls help me how to record audio with headphones.
