I should have said - it's a fresh install of Bookworm and I'm using the correct power supply for the Pi 5 and yes, I've tried booting from an sd card as well as a (USB 3) SATA SSD but still have the same problem - it boots correctly most times but then about 1 in 4 or 5 times, it fails to boot and gives the 8 green flashes.
