Per the title really, there's a thread (here) with a suggestion of what might work but no solid feedback on whether it's the right approach or even actually successful.
We are doing kiosk devices that absolutely must not do anything unexpected so updates need to be turned off, it seems like Bookworm potentially has them on & happening in the background by default.
So - what the correct & official way to disable them?
