Its a replacement for an Intel PC which by chance died just at the same time the Pi 5 was released.
I have since replaced the Pi 5 with the new 16GB model (matching the old Intel PC) which is easily overclocked to 3GHz and provides a very comfortable desktop experience.
Very pleased to replace a monster, electricity guzzling, tower PC with something the size of a credit card that sips power - and saved lots of money too!
