I have had them set at 200 pulses/rev for much of the testing, although I have also tried 800 and 1600 at various times. The finished Python script calls for 1600 pulses/rev, although I can of course change this.
Everything has been on hold for the last week for various boring domestic reasons, but I'm hoping to get back to it in the next day or so.
(The two steppers drive a solar panel, changing the altitude and azimuth angles throughout the day at 15 minute intervals, returning to the start position at 7pm and resuming at 6am the following day - this is the part of the project that has taken the most time, over a year in fact, as I had to learn Python to do it, having only messed about with BBC Basic years ago.)
