I ask because we tried overclocking our 400s and didn't notice any real world improvement.
Here is an example:
These are the times for a software build using GCC, simply measured with "time":
2400MHz

3000MHz

real  0m7.828suser  0m7.840ssys   0m0.076s
Less than 25% so its probably held up by I/O wait too, but given that it cost nothing more than a trivial edit to one config file, I'm happy!

Web browsing feels a little snappier, but that's not so easy to objectively measure.

I guess, you are getting an extra "4 * 600MHz" Cortex-A76 worth of CPU power, which is a lot more than the older Pi models!
