Very nice ideas came out here. The easiest one seems to be to unsolder the USB-A block and to solder two USB-C ports without using any daughter/hat board. What I don't understand if this linear idea is doable, how much is doable, how much money it will take to be implemented...is it secure and safe ?. The alternative seems to be to remove the USB-A block and use the circuits of the usb-c port for creating a daughter board / hat that adds two USB-C ports ? Which solution do you prefer between these two ? what's the cheaper one ? and most important, what is the most safe and secure of those ideas ?
