The tryboot filter in conjunction with tryboot_a_b allows to use two independent boot partitions:Unless I completely misunderstand how try_boot works (very possible as I've not used it) I'm not at all sure what the point of it is.

What I'm talking about is the boot_partition=N filter introduced here:

This new filter allows to do stuff depending on which boot partition is selected.
But this is available for 2712 only. But we still use 2711 (CM4) and are short before hitting production
