Will we be able to create new jobs at the same rate as AI will take over the old jobs, that is what is bugging me. We have a global crisis in our hands. Maybe the "most widespread" economic depression the world has ever seen. It is here, now. We were never this interconnected before. And what do we do to resolve the problems? Nothing. Political leaders are playing poker, human lives are in the pot. And we are feeding the fire with possible future unemployment of millions. The technology is advancing too fast and we can't keep up with it. Bitcoin won't save us. Not everybody can become a youtuber. The immigration crisis of western countries is a reality. It is no joke. And there are "billions" more where those people are coming from. They will reach the same threshold and they will march on to a dream of a better world in the west which seems depleted already. Who and how will stop them?
