you will need i.e. these https://www.ebay.de/itm/183673772772 and connect them to the fan of your choice (preferably 5V supply!)

When my pi5 arrives perhaps I use the controller fan of noctua that have worked very well on other SBC and allows me adjust the noise to minimum manually.
Perhaps the default fan of active cooler is very silent and is not needed.
Waiting arrive of mi pi5.

I have the NF-A4x20 5V PWM fan and the usb adapter for NA-FC1 that noctua don't sell with the controller usb cable but comes with other fan 5V model and allows me to connect 5V fan to usb port.

The active cooler fan is very very quiet - I cannot usually hear it on my desk during normal operation.
