These two pictures look like the 'chassis' is seperating from the cover lens, which might be caused by using brass standoffs - in two of the four mounting holes - with a treat lenght that is too long. max lenght is not specified, but everything beyond 3mm will start to protrude the chassis, causing 'issues'.Are you basing this off the first pictures that shows the thin line of light or the second post where I show the gap between the bezel and the silver metal?looks Like an assembly error. return it under warranty
The gap between the silver metal and the bezel seem uneven to me, however, I searched for videos of the touch display v2 on Youtube and found this video of a reviewer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvAL5h0p0Jk
I manager to get these two screenshots of his display, and to me the gap is in his display too. So, I'm just trying to see if this is normal for the touch display v2 or not.
As for the thin line of light, isn't this what is called backlight bleeding and even if I replace I can't be sure that the replacement won't have it?
the Poster of that video might have used These Long standoffs as stands ... which would be a pretty dumb idea.
