I’m working on a small project with a Raspberry Pi. When I connect a regular monitor, everything runs perfectly — the program launches and closes without any issues.
However, when I connect a 7-inch touchscreen, everything works fine until I try to close the program. When I tap the “X” button with my finger, the Raspberry Pi immediately logs out and returns to the login screen, requiring me to re-enter the username and password.
Strangely, if I use a mouse to click the same “X” button, the program closes correctly without logging out.
Why does the system log out when using the touchscreen to close the program, and how can I prevent this from happening?
