Yes, I still have microHDMI port 2 as a backup when microHDMI port 1 finally dies. I just unplug the HDMI cable from the monitor and whack the cable connected to the Pi 5 microHDMI port in my backpack. This probably causes more strain than unplugging and plugging a microHDMI wireless adaptor.

Hexciting 3D print by the way :-)
I'm guessing this is the hardware for the Waveshare port save board?

I think I'll focus on the wireless HDMI option, which opens up some other opportunities (https://youtu.be/EyR2-C9ggi0?t=1197), in terms of minimal physical stuff (cable management or lack thereof), which breaks and takes up space.
Potentially a wireless HDMI might work via USB-A or USB-C, or even the microHDMI ports 1 or 2 should be ok.
Still researching.
