My view is SPI screens are a nightmare, l always choose HDMI, or DSI you know will work, eg Pi Touch 2.
aBUGSworstnightmare has done some great work on spi screens but they are still not simple to get working.
i found someting about fbcp. I guess it's not working with bookworkm version. but i've pi 5 and i have to use bookworm.. im still stuck.
and i must use this crap unfortunately. we are producing some assistant and education robots. now im working for a mini model. so i cant use a bigger screen from that. i couldnt find any screen with HDMI or MicroHDMI like this one. also if i have an option (2.4" and hdmi connect) i cant buy because my country applies very heavy taxes for imported products.. dumb government.
