More clarification on AutoRemote. I store most of the URL in a file called autoremote and it contains a variable called shane. When the script combines the variable "shane" with the alert, basically appending the alert to the string that contains my api. I have it hidden in another file, because if I posted the complete URL in a forum, you guys could hammer my device with messages.
The URL for the requests post ends up looking alot like this, with the keyword at the end. In this case it is "Left door open"
