I'm using a CM5. What I think is probably different about my device is that I've generated a fresh Trixie OS image from scratch using mmdebstrap (derived from pi-gen-image). I'm also just booting to a console and not installing labwc or any of the packages like raspberry-pi-ui-mods. The only thing I take from the Raspberry Pi repository is the kernel and the firmware. So, I have a fresh Debian Trixie OS with Raspberry Pi kernel and firmware.Maybe that could provide us a clue to what is different in your device.
If you look at the list of ICD files published for Debian Trixie, none of there are suffixed with "aarch64". See https://packages.debian.org/trixie/arm6 ... s/filelist
Are the files in yoiur /usr/share/vulkan/icd.d directory suffixed with "aarch64"?
For your Trixie OS, are you first starting with Bookworm and then upgrading? Maybe that's why it works for you but not me. Do you have a way to test a fresh Trixie install?
