Please help on how I can get core 1 working.

I would have expected it to be the same for RP2350 as it was for the RP2040 but I haven't tried it, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are some differences and maybe some hoops which have to be jumped through.

Perhaps zip-up your code which can be built for RP2040 and RP2350 so others can try it, check if they can replicate the issue, see what the cause may be. The more you can help members here to help you the more help you will likely receive.
