Extract of email to PiHut
Since the replacement RPI5, to all appearances, it works fine except I cannot run any camera on cam/disp 0. A display works on cam/disp 1. To add to the mystery, if I switch SD cards with another rpi5 that works with any camera and display, the cameras do not work. They are not recognised by the system. So, The cameras and display work with another pi with its SD card but the cameras are not detected in this Pi, even with a fully working SD card setup.
As the only part which fails to work as expected is the pi board, I can only conclude it must be faulty in that respect. Obviously I have tried all sorts of ways to eliminate the problem with settings, but it is clear that the setting from a working Pi and its SD card must be right and should work on this suspect Pi. The other (working) Pi is an 16GB version.
