In general it is a good suggestion, but in this case it don't think it adds anything. I did not mention, that with this setup, I have everything (full screen QT and LVGL apps) running with other DSI (and HDMI) displays:Maybe worth trying.....
PS: the whole SW stack is based on yocto/meta-raspberrypi, I did not use the RPI OS.
- Rpi4 official 7inch display
- 2 Waveshare 7inch displays with higher resolutions: DSI-LCD-C and DSI-LCD-H.
The main part is the panel driver, that I will have to compile myself anyway. And in general, the panel driver + display works with the CM5 instead of CM4.
