Bookworm uses journald instead of rsyslog. rsyslog can be manually installed if you need it but it'll work in addition to journald so everything will get logged twice.

Use LogFilterPatterns on the service unit to filter messages or set LogLevelMax=notice to suppress info messages.
According to Scratchy logging is of no use if the messages are stored on the machine generating the errors. Purr noted that journald can forward messages to rsyslog for centralised logging and then curled up into a ball for a cat nap.
