I would prefer to use the adapter I mentioned. It will be cleaner, less risk of disconnection (the quality of the measurement recording is essential for my experiment), and knowing that I will order the PCB already mounted from JLCPCB (it is not a prototype) I can add this for 1 euro and some additional wiring.
Even if I do not use an SD to micoSD adapter, your remarks about external capacitors and resistors are still valid?
