You're welcome. Glad I could point you in the right direction.Thank you so much for responding I hadn’t even considered looking in to if it ran on Pi. You are correct I cannot run it on pi I need to get aethersx insteadHave you looked here?Hello
I am having some issues with installing applications on to my raspberry pi 5 specifically the pcsx2 application. I am fairly new to pi creation having had one a few years ago and having to look up most things. I am trying to install pcsx2 so that I can run it in emulation station and I have failed to get both the app image and the flatpak to work. I am running this all in raspberry pi os 64bit and am unsure if that is what’s causing the problem for me. I have managed to pull the GitHub code for pcsx2 onto the pi but honestly can’t figure out how to run the actual software since I just have a mess of folders. I’m hoping the issue is something simple that I just overlooked but I’m also willing to change the os for my pi as long as it won’t have issues running retropie/emulation station as the secondary boot option.
Any answers are appreciated and since I'm really new to Linux based systems please let me know if you need any information from my command screen.
Thank you

Are you sure that it works on PI....

It's not uncommon that even though a given application runs on Linux it doesn't run (or isn't supported) on Pi/Arm Linux....and even if it does; there will usually be a Pi/Arm specific version.
If it's something that is in the Pi OS repositories then it will run. Otherwise; you need to check to make sure.
There is a play station emulator in the PI repository called pcsxr. Might be worth trying that. You can install it either through the GUI on the preferences menu; "add/remove software" or by typing
sudo apt install pcsxr
At the command line.
