The active cooler is about $5 and a solid investment, as are the RP power supplies, very high quality, and the 45W one can be used to charge laptops or anything that needs lot of welly. About $18 or so. A bargain.The Pi 5 is obviously much faster, surely you can compare the specs for yourself? As for the memory size, I find that 2gb is adequate for most things.
The Pi 5 requires a beefier power supply though, and in my experience it heats up pretty quick if you are pushing it much, especially in a warm environment. A cooling fan is a must if you have a HAT on it.
