This is driving me crazy. For now, I'm just ignoring the upside-down booting issue. However, the touchscreen control input can't be permanently changed. Note: I don't shut down the device properly—it's being switched off directly from the power source while it's still running.However, if I open the config.txt file, remove a character and add it back (just to save and rewrite the file), and then run "sudo reboot," everything works as expected after the reboot. I didn't actually change any settings at all.
