Networking and servers • Re: wpa_supplicant.conf not applied on first boot — ssh file removed but Wi-Fi not configured (Pi Zero W)

If memory serves, that mechanism stopped working almost two years ago with the change to Network Manager that came in with Bookworm.

As already suggested use Imager. Either that, the desktop tools, nmtui, or nmcli after login.
