My interest is an approaching summer 35 ~ 38 air temp. In the shade but no natural breeze. Pi 4 with peak workloads for a short time every few minutes. If that variation is one Pi 4 versus another, I will test both my Pi 4 machines and select the coolest one.
Do you use a heatsink? Which one? I selected a smaller one to allow maximum use of the on board WiFi without blockage from the really big heatsinks. Your post made me rethink heatsinks.
