1. One. You don't mention having tried to boot your RPi4B board from a USB Mass Storage device, ie a 'memory stick' or 'thumb drive.' That would remove reliance on the microSD card slot as a boot device.

Yes, the board was in an internal environment in Sri Lanka. Despite being indoors, the persistent high humidity common to the region may have caused some corrosion.
