Probably best asking this question on the DearPyGui github. I don't know the software.So in conclusion - is the only way to get DearPyGui working with proper hardware acceleration to build it with OpenGL 2.1 API ?
But the suggestion to switch to a legacy/unsupported configuration along with the comment "This is not well tested" doesn't fill me with confidence.
I do see the readme say "Linux - OpenGL 3", "Raspberry Pi 4 - OpenGL ES".
Based on that it sounds like you need to make sure it is using the OpenGL ES API, not the OpenGL 3 API.
