1. I want to communicate with GPS module and to read/write Linux console without SSH (however, maybe I can`t use both UARTs simultaneously on RPi3)1. Tell me what you want to do with each UART - UART0/ttyAMA0 and UART1/ttyS0.
2. Is it important that you use ttyS0, rather than ttyAMA0 (which is a better UART) with picocom?
2. It`s not really important but it`s make me nervous, that I can`t make ttyS0 work
