Hi thank you for replying,1) remove all SD cards, power up. Do you get the diagnostic display?
no-card1.jpg
2) you do not say how the cards were prepared, or what size they are.
- 32G is what i use.
- always prepare them using PI-Imager?
how old are the cards?
3) have you updated the eeprom? (bootloader)
https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... ate_stable
1) I've not seen the diagnostic display when doing that but i will give it a try later.
2) i have a couple of 32 gb where one is brand new and the other is a bit older but have worked.
i also have a 64 gb card that is brand new but have also worked (this had the latest config and install that was running when the last crash happend)
all have always been prepped with Pi-Imager
3) I have tried putting the eeprom on all 3 of the SD cards with Pi-Imager but i never had any display output with trying it or any change in behavior, so i assume that it havent worked.
I'll get back with an update when I've tried just powering on the Pi with a display connected and no SD card
