You are the tester, a RPi5 has no M.2 socket (or SATA connector) so you assembled at least 3 (or 4) things yourself: RPI5, NVMe/SSD adaptor, 500G Kingston (and Power supply). So an IKEA computer without manual essentially. If you want tested, buy a RPi500+ or a laptop, that also has speakers screen trackpad microphone battery etc.So, i installed a ssd 500gb kingston in my rpi5, 8gb and it have worked in a couple of month.
Now, suddenly, i have get a yellow sign, saying low voltage! ChatGPT says, it can have with the ssd demands more power! Do companies, do some test, to see, if there solution really works, before they sell it to consumers?
I will be back to sdcard now instead.
80€ misspend
Why low voltage I don't know, you probably post a picture of your setup.
A 45W PSU as someone mentions won't help as an RPI5 uses only 5V and at that voltage it is max 5A. So 5V * 5A = 25W. So the 45W won't be used.
45W you get when for example 3A * 15V
Other PSU's are for example 60W (3A * 20V)
