Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I don't have a serial console cable or debug probe at the moment, and no GPIO accessories either.Not sure why we are recommending "the PI is thrown to trash"?
OP could try connecting via a serial console cable or debug probe UART to USB
Here we see a Pi Zero 2W with a debug probe attached to its uart pins on the GPIO header.
The USB from debug probe goes to another Pi, which we use to log in to the Pi Zero 2W via minicom - all fine.
