A faulty one wouldn't work with MicroPython, probably wouldn't work at all.
Look in device manager and compare "the Good, the Bad and the Ugly".
Maybe you have a driver or a terminal conflict, or an Arduino mess.

Try only one at a time.When I tried it with micro python it seemed to work, but it was outputting to the terminal in vscode so I'm not sure if that was it or not.
